Arya (aka Little Roonie) made breakfast for me (dad) on Father's Day. Actually, she played in her swing while her mom made breakfast which proved to be just as helpful. Tons of visitors this month. Rita Mossi, Kimat Bhai, Deepak, Keshini, Sumeet, Katie, Nitin and Manish. Little Roonie loves it when people come by and hold her.
April 2009
Today Arya had her picture taking with the Easter Bunny at Woodfield Mall. As you can see, Arya had mixed feeling about being held by the Easter Bunny. On the one hand the bunny was soft, on the other hand the bunny was big and furry. She's probably hoping this is the last "mall" picture her parents take of her with some person dressed up in a costume.February 2009
It has been about 7-weeks and Arya continues to do very well. She has been out a few times with mom and "Nama." Primarily to the doctor's office, though, she did make two trips to "Nama's" favorite restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen. Arya spends most of the day in her swing. (Thanks Deepak & Keshini!) Dad gets a little nervous because he thinks the swing goes too high, though, Arya doesn't seem to mind.

Darshana and I are very proud to announce the arrival of our first child, Arya Singla! She was born in December 2008, weighing in at 5lb, 11oz. Both mom and baby are doing extremely well.
